I love these socks. I love these shoes. They both make me happy. The yarn was Regia Nation Color in Finland, and the shoes are B&W Mary Janes from Spain. A multi-national effort if I ever saw one.

My very first pair of socks!

Given that it took me nearly a month to knit the first one, I'm going to go ahead and "turn this in" for the craft-along challenge I'm participating in. The second sock is started, but since I usually only work on these during choir rehearsal, it will take a while before both are off the needles and on my feet.
