Actually, my little friend (Pana FX01) went in for repairs again today - so I feel rather naked! But there were two spots on the sensor, so it was getting silly with the cropping, etc..
Luckily (!) I have over 100 photos marked 'for_flickr' so I won't be running out any time soon. It's just that we're hitting the strong-long-shadow season, and I do like 'em!
Sea Foam
This is a natural process occurring in especially big seas, where plankton and other small sea organisms are literally pulverised against the rocks of the shoreline, resulting in a very fine protein suspension in the sea which coats the air-bubbles created by the waves to create a stiff froth, just the same way as egg protein coats air bubbles to make meringue, and beer protein coats air bubbles to produce a head of foam in a beer glass. from viv.id.au/blog/20070827.871/sea-foam/
The Snapper at Barton G... The head was hollowed out, the meat stuffed in the back of the head, and the tail stuffed in the mouth. Then the entire thing was served in a ceramic fish. The relatives of this fish are going to come seeking revenge for sure.
the dogs found this one wed evening, it was almost dark. I didnt want to mess with it in the dark!! the next day we found him trying to sneak into our pond but was caught on the wrong side of a fence. I didnt want him in the pond and worry that he might bite one of the dogs, so I caught him with a landing net and took him to the river for a better place to live. he just fit into the net, shell front to back was about 15 inches
I may have sat where someone who feeds the snappers sits. I was photographing Amberwings when this turtle came slowly up to the bank. Spend ten minutes poking along near me. This is a large turtle, twenty pounds or more probably. After ten minutes one that was considerably larger came. Then they both left.

Tomyum Snapper, savoy cabbage, basmati rice. No chilli, reduced lime juice and fish sauce so that Isaac could share our dinner. This time, I remembered to garnish it with coriander.
Next time, I'll only include the zest of the Kaffir lime and not the bitter juice!

On a clear day, views of North Africa can be seen across the Strait of Gibraltar including Ceuta and the Rif Mountains of Morocco; as well as the Bay of Gibraltar and the Spanish towns along its shores.
