I spent a lot of time with the girlies on the beach. We collected snail shells, hermit crabs, crabs, sea glass, and rocks. We left the live creatures on the beach.

In addition to raising fish, I raise (!) two or three varieties of aquatic snails. I found this snailshell in the tank one day. From tip to tip it's less than 1/4" long. I shot this with a 300mm macro, and the plane of focus is about 1/8" wide.
