Oxychilus draparnaudi is large for a zonitid glass snail, also called the dark bodied glass snail with a shell of about 14 mm in maximum dimension. The shell is glossy and is a translucent yellowish-brown in colour, somewhat whiter underneath.

Under the Brick I saw a myriad creatures scurry...

I spent a lot of time with the girlies on the beach. We collected snail shells, hermit crabs, crabs, sea glass, and rocks. We left the live creatures on the beach.
