A wild plant grew next to a broken snailshell

This collection of snail shells was put there by a certain kind of mouse that comes out at night, eats snails and stashes the shells under rocks.

And this one is for Linda - it looks like her thrushes have been moonlighting ;o)

I took this last night in relatively low light, so I had to use HDR to get all the tones in.

Found this hiding on my Hydrangea.

One of the things I found in the grass by his headstone was a snailshell. On this empty shell I noticed a tiny baby snail.

It's probably supposed to be shell-helmeted rather than shell-headed, admittedly.
