Siberian Bugloss (Brunnera macrophylla)
Lovely, tiny blue flowers appear above the foliage in spring. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade.
on my walks yesterday i picked up one beautiful snailshell. it lay on the middle of wide asphalt road and absolutely dead, half dry inside. no life signs. but so beautiful!! so i took it home and put it on a shelf. today i thought to take couple of photos of it - and it literally became alive under my camera lens!! like a miracle!! it hadn't budged the whole night and day on my shelf. so i shot my photos and then took it onto the balcony into a big pot of sunflower thicket and colourful-nettle-thingies. i hope he likes it there :) mr.Buddy Swirl.
This is the first photo in a series of 4. When I found this shell I thought it was an empty shell.I was wrong.
I don't know how long this snail shell had been around, but it must have been a few seasons at least. It's not nearly as washed out as I would have expected.
Sunday, May 15, I decided to try using only the camera in my phone for photo opportunities in Balboa Park.
I'm really pleased with how well it recorded this snail shell and bougainvillea flowers.
