Wifey was going to dump these since they have been sitting here for a while. Cannot donate them to the food bank as they are not in the original package, so I just said do not worry I will eat them. Hence is why I am the near expired/expired food garbarator. Yes unless the food is completely inedible I cannot stand to see it tossed out, while the crackers themselves where slightly stale, I still pounded them down one after another.

 

Which brings me to the challenge, that a person cannot eat 10 of these in 1 minute. Does not seem impossible but for me it was, I was gasping for water around 3 and then it was almost like a gag reflex that I had to stop swallowing or something. While I did get through 10 of these it took significantly longer to finish.

 

Enough about that, right now I am looking forward to Red Robins free birthday burger for my birthday, wifey has just informed me that hers has arrived. Best deal ever as in the disclaimer it says only 1 per table unless birthdays fall within the same week. Boom that is us!

 

Oh yea and the smoothie was more green but still not there, I hear it is the blueberries making it that colour, none the less it was good!

Ingredients:

 

-1/2 Cup or more of Blackberries:

Polyphenols found in dark berries may help reduce cognitive decline in older age by cleaning up cells that impair brain function. Blackberries are also hugely fiber-rich—one cup has almost 8 of the 25 grams you need daily.

 

-1/2 to 1 Avocado:

We always have avocados on our counter. They are a big part of our diet. We toss them in smoothies, make guacamole and constantly eat them by themselves. These green gems contain almost 20 vitamins, minerals and beneficial plant compounds that will boost your smoothie real fast and make it extra creamy. They are loaded with heart-healthy fats that will keep your skin glowing and your tummy full longer.

 

- 1/2 to 1 Cup Pomegranate juice:

mall studies seem to suggest that drinking pomegranate juice might lower cholesterol. It's also thought that pomegranate juice may block or slow the buildup of cholesterol in the arteries of people who are at higher risk of heart disease.

Like many fruit juices, pomegranate juice contains antioxidants, especially polyphenols. What's more, pomegranate juice contains antioxidants at higher levels than do many other fruit juices. Antioxidants are thought to provide several heart-protecting benefits, including reducing low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or "bad") cholesterol.

 

- 1 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract

- Handful of Ice cubes

 

Directions:

Add everything in a blender & blend until smooth!

 

Garnish if desired :)

There were 12 different kinds of amazing present coupled with 8 variations of "rock your face off".

 

During the performance it's customary to make a smoothie from OJ, bananas and strawberries. Yum!

There are a few ways to put together a good smoothie. You can use ice-cream or sherbet as a base and combine with fruit, veggies, juice. Or, you can use milk or yogurt with crushed ice as a base and combine with other ingredients. Directions are simple for all listed smoothie recipes — just put ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (hence smoothie).

Yummy! My mom bought so many types of berries and I kind of craved for a smoothie, but unfortunately we didn't have any vanilla ice cream. But my mom went shopping and was kind enough to buy some for me! (:

Kathya made this using: yoghurt, pomegranate juice, bananas, frozen raspberries, milk. It matched my knitting! :)

I think it's going to be a busy week. I had a tiring weekend and only slept a few hours last night, but I got up and was kinda hungry.

 

Breakfast was 2 slices of sourdough, some of that leftover petrale sole - coarse ground pepper with lemon juice, smoothie was Vitamin Water Energy [Tropical], peaches, mango, banana, 30g soy protein, and cherry yoplait yogurt.

 

I have a lot of photos from this last weekend and I'll try to get them up ASAP. Hope you all had a good weekend and have a good week.
