The River Thames in the mist.

Sand Harbor in Tahoe is always crowded. They also charge you a parking fee. Turns out the beach at Bonsai Rock is more secluded and pristine. You just need to know where to park your car along the highway and find your way down to the beach. Well, it 's not much of a beach but rather a rocky coastline. You just need to watch your steps and not to slip. When I was there, I brought my Mamiya Six folder with me. This vintage medium format film camera is amazing. Its Mamiya Sekor lens is simply stunning. I would say it 's just as good as the Zeiss Planar on the Rolleiflex. I am constantly amazed by its contrast and sharpness. The camera body is so compact once its bellow is retracted and folded, I could almost fit it in a jacket pocket.

A waterfall in Storidalen (Oppdal, Norway). A wonderful place to visit.

This photo was taken close to sunset in Tor Bay, Nova Scotia. I don't do much landscape photography but we had a wonderful trip there and this photo is a nice memory of that trip. The water was incredibly smooth, so it made a really nice reflection. This was handheld, as anyone who knows me will not be suprised about . Tripods and I do not get along well. See ya in Nova Scotia.

Lake Crescent was nearly as smooth as glass. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so the colors and reflections are not as vibrant as they could have been.

La Thuile, Mt Salève (France)

Its amazing what water can do over time. These rocks were so smooth, and slippery, and resulted in the first fall of my trip. But the camera was saved!

Blackcurrants. Tricky choice of shot to post in Macro Monday this week- liked the snail and a colour shot of blackcurrants too (see photostream). Went with this as most fitting the brief.
