This bus was doing a country route (carefully) when a less careful and fast-moving DHL van went head on into it. Both drivers escaped unhurt, as did the bus passengers.
One of a series of urban photos which were taken at an abandoned truck stop on the highway.
A smashed fluo light...
Hope you like it.

Taking a pile of smashed lens glass and making a nice little line. Full view highly recommend so you can see the tiny little specs of color.
I guess this one was in the race we saw. The Alfa 147s were going really fast, but rather uncharacteristically for an Alfa, didn't make much sound. That's because they run diesel engines.
A very smashed old Chevrolet pickup truck, surrounded by a collection of junked farm implements and construction equipment. Found outside of Owatonna, MN on Ava, Barry, and I's photo expedition.

On the road to the Christmas Island Resort. FIFO DIAC and Serco workers are the main users of this road and sights like this are now common. It's not like they run into the road as you approach.
Levi's 514s came in from Amazon today. Box was all jacked up, but i wasn't too concerned since it was jeans. They looked ok, and seemed to fit pretty well on the test fit.

The demolition of housing in Kents Hill, Milton Keynes, England that was not much more than 10 years old. That this was done is a shame because the buildings could have been renovated and used as council housing or shared ownership for people getting on the property ladder. Instead, Milton Keynes Council thought it would be best to allow a developer to come in and destroy the houses and not even require that the materials be salvaged so as not to be so wasteful.
In addition, much of the greenery - shrubs, plants and trees were torn up, dumped on and ruined at exactly the time of year when birds and other wildlife are nesting and trying to raise young. Their homes would have also been blighted in this process.
Seeing this made us angry. We didn't know what else to do except get photos and document it.
Shame on the Council, the developers and English Partnerships, all of whom were complicit in allowing this to happen. In the name of Greed.
The old pole was smashed by a truck during a rainy day Thursday. The workers had to replace it with this pole in the rain. The truck hit the pole so hard, the crossarm had broken and the pole mounted insulator at the top had bent.
