One Sunday morning poor old Natalie woke up to the neighbours hammering on our door, saying someone had smashed into her parked car. The van she was parked next to was totally written off, so she's lucky to have had it fixed really. Here are a few pictures of the damage.
One of my brothers cars. He hit a 70's Lincoln Continental in the drivers side when he blew a stop sign. The Lincoln's rear bumper hooked inside the rear quarter panel tearing it out. The car was repaired. It looked funny with the new mis-matched paint. The only part with the original paint were the doors, trunk and 1/2 the roof.
The entire front end was replaced, the quarter panel was repaired and fully painted up into the roof part way. For some reason my brother told them not the replace the broken off section of the spoiler that bolted on to the top of the rear quarter panel...The car looked ridiculous with that missing piece.
This car was eventually stolen and never recovered.
How ned glaswegians celebrate Olympic victory: get drunk and vandalise the street signs.
Not that I much care: in between avoiding the vomit puddles and blood-spots, the obstacle-course is made so much worse by glasgow shitty council selling the pavement space off to advertisers who pollute it with visual noise.

Been a while since I've smashed a light bulb, but I had an evening to myself so I dragged the kit out... SB900 in home-made softbox @ 1/128 power, D300 with Sigma 150mm f/2.8 APO Macro. Triggered via a home-made audio trigger.

In August of 06 I was replacing some submersible pumps in a lift station (sewer). A 500lb pump fell on my foot and crushed my toes. The 2nd toe had six breaks, the middle toe had eight. I can't bend either two at the lower knuckle but I can still walk fine and that's what counts.

Recently I offered to scan some photo's for a guy at work. He was unsure who the photographer of these is, but there are from his collection and now from my collection. In January of 1995 there was a head on collision of the Wisconsin Central as a local was leaving town and a road train was coming into town. Here is the next day, maybe 2 days later. As they were moving some of the cars from the derailment to the rip tracks, they decided to tip over....well as the photos show. It's one quick way to crush a car!
