Every morning the kids stand in the school courtyard, do some exercises, say the pledge, and listen to anthems. (yes, plural - American and Japanese). This was her first day, waiting for everything to begin.

She WAS sleepin... but then the eyes popped open. Jay hung out on my lap quite a bit as a wee one.

Seagulls. I have this vision of a bazillion of the sqwaky things in the parking lot of the NEX back at Whidbey... Jase, of course, drove straight for the parking spot that 92,000 seagulls were occupying.

 

The Kia was never the same...........

 

And look! Now there's a small horde of seagulls driving some massive bird of prey crazy at the zoo!

It is cutlery that looks like many others but is different. A dub of cutleries which produces a child everybody has always longed for, but will always be a little bit Frankie. You may be able to tattoo it, to engrave it, or to dress it up in silk, but don´t fool yourself, it will always be Frankie.
