"Be faithful in small things, because it is in them that your strength lies" (Mother Teresa)

My Pandora Crab Charm contemplating his golden prize.

HMM Everyone!!!

Captured the delicate beauty of this pink flower, using a wide aperture to create a dreamy, creamy bokeh. The soft background highlights the intricate details of the petals, bringing out their natural elegance. Sometimes, it’s the simplest moments that remind me of the quiet beauty in nature.

What do you think? There’s something so peaceful about focusing on the small things. 🌸✨

Happy.

It is so wonderful to have a great friend to do things with....

A bell showing "imperfect aged beauty". For Macro Mondays: Wabi-sabi and my POTD.

This little thing has kept me sane during this extended lockdown... no doubt speaking to like minded people here.

Small Things - Eye of the needle

Captured this delicate moment of nature in perfect harmony, a vibrant blue flower paired with a tiny red ladybug. The bright colours and gentle details make this macro shot feel like a tiny world of its own.

"This week, we take a look at the printed work........

I thought it was good to take the subject literally 😉

I'll get my book and start ID'ing them soon...

Green lichens cover the bark surfaces while mushrooms course in the bark gaps creating a colorful natural mosaic, 3-D abstract.

Macro Mondays theme Spoonful of anything

Ohhh, now it could be a spoonful of diamonds

It could be a spoonful of gold

But just a little spoon of your precious love

Will satisfy my soul.

Spoonful is a blues song written by Willie Dixon and has become a standard through the cover versions of many different blues musicians. First the song was recorded in 1960 by Howlin' Wolf.

Continuing my exploration and celebration of small things with the patterns in this seaweed, left behind by the tide, at a beach near Batemans Bay, NSW. At Batemans Bay near where the sea meets the river, the seaweeds were extraordinary in variety and range. But I think this came from a different beach...

Note how the photographer has inserted herself into the picture with the shadow bottom right! (A typical shadow of a hand holding a small camera.)

What is happiness for me?

These themes get my head spinning 😁 Thank you Maria and Caren ♥

I realized that it's so many things that make me happy, so if I should dwell on them it would be a new blahblah and Flickr would close my account... 😂

This photo sums up some of it up tho, I have always loved it.

So, happiness is

The loved ones around me, the bonding, the love, having fun, laughter, coffee, music, sharing, being outside, taking photos, the nature, different seasons, observing, words, contemplating, the growth within, trying to solve the big questions.

See, I can write short ones too. 😁😂😁

Have a cheerful Saturday
