Our little (4+lbs) Morkie curled up and snoozed Friday evening while I watched TV. It was nice to have her warmth next to me.

Guess who just got the news that we’re going home from the vetranarian? ...and she didn’t get an injection, either!
He seemed to be sniffing here and there, as if knowing what he could smell was just around this very spot. He was totally oblivious to anyone.
This little Shitsu dog was so cute, but he was all fluffed up from running around so it made this portrait a bit more unusual.

he was such a wonderful boy. this was the day before he died. I followed him and he walked down to the side of the house where we used to bury our small animal friends after they passed. i thought it was interesting.

Group challenge: perspective
It has not been a great day.
My first day off at home after a dozen working.
So much to do at home. Chad and I are outta whack and have been arguing all day.
My hands are all torn up from a car project, fixing my floor board with a replacement panel.
Tonight we watched the SNL Christmas special, and the Seinfeld Festivus episode, and ate some smoked salmon from Oregon.
Christmas isn't the happiest time of year for everyone. A lot of people struggle through it. It's stressful. This year has been rotten and at this point I just hope we survive it.
My family is all somewhere else and for many years in Arizona I had to work on Christmas, just like any other day.
So I got over it.
We usually just have a nice dinner on Christmas, do a hike, relax.
Two tiny dogs pose grudgingly for sunset portraits on the beach at Mary's Point in New Brunswick. They do not enjoy getting their feet wet and will undoubtedly make us pay for this.
It was fun to spend a day of antiquing with my sister even though we found very little. I only bought one photograph although I looked at boxes of them. Oh my aching back! I think the great vernacular collectors must have better backs than me as well as a keener eye but I keep trying.
I like this young lady holding on to a small dog on the running board of an early 20th century car. I expect the highly knowledge members of the flickr antique car group can tell me the make and date of the car. It feels Western to me although I can't quite say why. Maybe her pants that are tucked into knee high socks and her scarf suggest an outdoors woman to be.
What I'd like to know is why all my dog photos remind me of Smalldogs now....
