I saw it first!
Who among us hasn’t played Slug Bug while in the car? I have fond memories of my brother and I playing the game as kids. Our eyes combing the surrounding streets for the next Volkswagen Beetle eager to get the next punch in. More often than not the game would end over an argument of who saw what first, or one of us got mad over punching to hard.
I can remember when my dad took the back roads we would wait intently for the large field filled with countless junked beetles waiting to unleash fists of furry upon each other. It was eventually outlawed altogether, you can probably imagine why.
Interestingly enough in more recent times, a newer version of this game has been played amongst my friends. It involves spotting a sweatshirt of our favorite brewery from our college town, Boundary Bay Brewery. I don’t think it has a specific name and we are much less fierce about it, but its fun never the less.
Came across a shiny silver VW Beetle as I was walking around Seoul tonight. I didn't intend an HDR but when I got home I realized I had the correct exposures to do it. So here it is.

and I have so little enjoyment in life.

These are the only VW's he's driving now a'days, but that will change when we no longer have a need for a minivan with heat. : )
