After the long slog up Dinas Mawddwy, we can be seen here flying down the other side, cooling down the engine and warming up the brakes!
The lovely 1953 Leyland Comet brewery wagon can just be seen in the distance but, he soon caught up and we all arrived in Barmouth together.

¡No creen ustedes, señores,
After slogging a day at work, I came to snap sunset shots out here at Keppel Bay.
Then reality hit, and these luxuries are out of my reach no matter how many Saturdays i work.
It's been a long day...
Snowdon Mountain Railway no.5 makes the final push to the summit station, just as we were walking to the summit ourselves.

The third ish is here! The very lovely Aisha graces our cover this month! We been slogging through a slew of Slut mag hotties to get to this one! Now my ol’ pal Andy can cancel that contract he put out on Jumpy’s life!
What some folks don’t know is that that turd ball of a ho, Saveme Oh (now one of the most celebrated artists in all of Second Life) and Jumpy have known each other since they BOTH were nobodies and noobs! Jumpy even trained her up, denoobified the fool even. Of course, Saveme remains a turd and Jumpy remains a Lane as ever. Slut mag sat down with the fool to set the record straght: Ms. Oh is just one of the many evils One Jump Lane has unleashed upon our little virtual world!
Speaking of fame. Some nameless sap in The Official Second Life Forums SWEARS that NO ONE is famous in SL. Well…WE beg to differ. We asked “Who are Second Life’s” glitterati. We found out and just like always, we are gonna let you know caws now WE know! Hehehehehe
We know Partee Mytili is famous. We KNOW Rache Avaro is gonna be famous! We got a long-lost pictorial we commissioned of them two famous gals by the FAMOUS fashion photog Crista Wellins we been saving up for the right time!
After slogging up the really steep bit in a deluge the rain continued as we reached the first top on the northern end of the ridge, but as we turned south for the main summit the clouds started to break up and tease us with glimpses of the views we could have seen on a good day.

60076 slogs through Whitley Bridge with the 6H12 Tyne Coal Terminal to Drax. An unfortunate day for me. Despite getting the 20s at Sheffield, and unbroken sunshine across Yorkshire, problems with the clutch on my car meant I was stuck here for several hours until the RAC arrived to tow me home - so this was the last pic of the day - at only 10am!

Hey!
Finally, I can show you my vision of the LEGO Tow Truck 60056. In fact, I bought this set right away when it appeared in 2014. I find this a great set! Big and powerful truck - what could be better? But I wanted something more detailed and classic. Initially, I changed only the appearance of the cabin. After that, for a long time I did not work with this modification of 60056. But the incompleteness of the superstructure did not give me rest. When I found out about hook and chain tow trucks, I realized that I wanted to build this type. And now you see the result. The entire cable mechanism is tested in practice, and the model itself can be assembled in the form in which it is depicted on the renders. You can study the model in more detail at mecabricks, as always.
Thanks for attention :)

July 5th
This old folk melody struck me when I saw the motive of the day "On the little twig there was a small leaf, I never saw a lovely leaf."
The little leaf blew off because of the drought, and in the morning it was decorated with raindrops like diamonds.
The frog princess slogged through the swamp kissing frogs like it was her side hustle. One sneezed, one peed, another hopped off mid smooch.
Perched on a branch her fairy god opossum licked jam from his paw. “You could just wish for a prince,” he squeaked.
She sighed wiping slime off her gown. “No. True love.”
The opossum snorted. “Sweetheart, your true love smells like pond water.”

A five mile slog up and down the bolder-field in Coire an t-Sneachda Cairngorm mountain just to see some of these.. at the time I feared I'd gone mad.
The driver looks relaxed on 764-421 slogging uphill on the Viseu de Sus logging line. The train comprise one flat wagon for loco logs, a coach for the workforce, and numerous log bogies.
After plowing all day, the White Pass Rotary Fleet slogs through the last hundred yards of snow-covered tracks, before a scheduled servicing stop at Log Cabin, BC, and the Klondike Highway Crossing near MP 32. Just behind the plow train, you can see the green and yellow livery on the 90-Class locomotives of our chase train, looking like a submarine stalking a target.
When the plow train came to a halt just a minute or so later, I was incredibly surprised to see them stop it literally right in the crossing, blocking the only major highway between Skagway, AK and Whitehorse, YT. Interestingly, it spent about 20 minutes parked right there....and no cars appeared the entire time. That gives you just a little idea how busy things are in this part of the world in April.
Slogging north through a heavy blizzard, a Metra UP-North Line train has just gone through the South Boulevard crossovers (marked by the signals in the distance) and is making a station stop at Main Street in Evanston, Illinois. To the left is the Dempster (St) stop on CTA's Purple Line. The Main Street station roof looks for all the world like a lens reflection/flare spot here, I had to do a doubletake.
The coal loading tracks at Sandaoling have stiff uphill climbs before they hit the 'four signals'.
This train, headed by JS8225, put on one the most impressive audio-visual displays I've ever ever witnessed as it tried several times to get its train moving. My companions, who had all gone down by the signals were treated to quite the up-close spectacle, whereas I had to make do with watching the smoke plumes from a perch up on a hill some distance away.
After ten minutes of thrash, the train is finally moving as it powers through BaErZhan.
JS 8225 Sandaoling, China, Feb 18, 2017
The leading loco is doing all the work here and there's no prizes for guessing what type of coal is being frantically shovelled into the firebox. Two 'JS' class 2-8-2s disturb the peace, apart from the howling wind, in the snow-covered desert landscape of Sandaoling in Western China. The locomotives have collected empty wagons from the China Rail exchange sidings at Liushuguan for distribution to the outlying deep coal mines at the Sandaoling Mine Railway, West of Hami on 29th November 2005. Scanned from a Fujichrome Provia transparency taken with a Mamiya 645 ProTL fitted with an 80mm lens.

8F 48151 makes steady progress up to Ais Gill summit with the return leg of the Dalesman, 12 coaches on the hook.
A77 slogs away as it hauls a heavily loaded log consist up-grade from the Wodonga Goods Sidings.
A short wait ahead at the Hovell Street crossing provided a fair show when the loco powered up from a standing start, a lot of the time struggling to get moving again.

Bramshall 26-7-25 60046 slogs up the Uttoxeter line at Bramshall on 6M91 Chaddesden Sidings-Ravenhead Sidings loaded sand service. The train had run via Chaddesden Sidings to drop off 6 empties as the original set of wagons that worked to Brandon on Thursday with a load of stone was loaded to 24 wagons and only 18 are required on the sand to St. Helens. Hubby and I slogged for 4 miles through a foot of slushy snow to get a couple shots of Falls Creek. I did not want to spoil the Christmas surprise and open the new snowshoes just yet. We got a thorough, invigorating workout but next time it will be much easier, walking on top!

London Midland Class 150 Sprinter 150105 slogs through Barnt Green with the 13:59 1M66 Hereford to Birmingham New Street.
Since my last visit, there have been a number of cosmetic changes. First, metal gates were installed at the end of the Platforms. Following this, Hewell Lane bridge has been modified to create extra clearance, and the bridge in the distance is undergoing the same treatment. Finally, the footbridge here has been replaced.
Digging hard into the fairly steep grade of Angora Hill, this pair of GEVO's is only a couple miles into its nearly 15 mile climb to Angora. From there it's a much gentler descent down out of the Sand Hills and into Alliance.

A monster Canadian National train 324 with 106L/6E 13,959 tons & 7,350 ft is southbound on New England Central Railroad's (ex CV) Swanton Sub at about MP 14.1. The head end is about 3/4 of a mile south of the 3800 ft long wooden trestle, but the rear end is still strung out over the lake so they are continuing to crawl at the prescribed 5 mph beside VT Route 78 on a wet snowy Sunday morning.
Leading the train are CN 3020 (GE ET44AC blt 2015), 2921 (GE ES44AC blt 2015), 3893 (GE ES44AC blt 2019 wearing the 100th anniversary logo).
