Thank you all for your kind and wonderful comments.
The undershot of trees is not a composite, just looking up.
It was originally a color shot I took back in 2016 that I filtered to contrast the shapes of the different branches.
This was the 5th version of a figure drawing I did for this theme of winter leaving and the one that won out.

Happy Spring and Happy Sliders Sunday!

Not that much of a slider really. The vignette is quite heavily applied obviously and other than that I only moved the paraglider closer to the moon. In real life the moon was covered by clouds by the time he got close enough.
Taken mid April
The street where I grew up in the early 1940's. .Some of the buildings were medieval the rest pre Victorian, the street was cobbled. No bathrooms or indoor toilets, heating by a single coal fireplace.
This is the opposite side of the street from our house which would already have been demolished when this was taken in the early 1950's, see first comment below to see the other side.
Happy memories as kids, we had no idea how primitive the housing was because we all lived the same way!

Thanks for your visit and taking the time to comment so I can visit your photos, too... very much appreciated! My apologies if I cannot reply to all comments. Have a great day!
Another long exposure shot of Poppbles Bay, Gower. I went for very muted tones in this shot - it was very poor light anyway! Lots of sliding to get it to look like this though. HSS!

This photo gives you a good overview over Berlin's Government district, all the major governmental buildings in this area are visible in my photo, including the Reichstag building (the seat of the German government) with Norman Foster's famous, newly designed dome on the left, and the Bundeskanzleramt (German Chancellery) which you can see on the right (behind the Swiss embassy), and a few other governmental buildings, plus several Berlin landmarks. I might still add a few photo comments tomorrow, but for now I don't want to clutter the photo with lots of photo comments. I've added the names of some of the buildings, sights, and places in the tags (from left to right to front). For more images of the Governmental district, please see my album.
Image photoGRIIIphed from the rooftop of the Futurium, the so called "Skywalk". It had been a very bright and sunny day (as you can see), and I couldn't see a thing on the Ricoh's screen, so I was glad I had the, albeit merely optical, viewfinder mounted. This photo also wasn't intended as a panorama at all. As I was leaning onto the roof's balustrade, I was following the boat with the camera. Later, when I viewed the two final images, I thought that maybe I could combine them for a panoramic view. While I didn't really succeed in doing that manually, the panorama photomerge function in LR did an amazing job here, down to the use of only the boat in the left position (it had been in both images). Technically, this final image is a combination of, altogether, 8 single images: two HDR images made of 2 exposure bracketing series consisting of three images each (which I'd combined in HDR Efex), and the two final HDR images merged in LR.
Wishing you a happy (Sliders) Sunday, dear Flickr friends!
Foto automatisch entfernt – sehr praktisch :)
.. completing this Holland architeXture series .. happy Sliders Sunday my friends & coming back soon to Rotterdam :)
The Smile on Saturday theme for today, 8/14, is “flat lay”. It will probably come as no surprise to those who know me that I decided to use the tops/lids of some of the teapots in my collection. Of course, now I have to match them with the right teapots!
