This had been an extremely pale peony that was on its way out, so for Sliders Sunday I decided to give it a new life. I added an effect and manipulated the colours in Topaz Studio. HSS!

It's supposed to get red hot today (37C/98F - 45C/113F with humidity), so I figured I'd saturate the colours and add a few effects for Sliders Sunday. HSS!

Hello Everyone,

These are the wee blooms of Blue Vervain which can be grown in a garden or found in the wild. I took the image to Topaz Studio to slightly saturated only the purple tones and then pulled some sliders here and there and everywhere! It is always a grand experiment to try these different things! Spider Flower (Cleome hassleriana) is a fast growing annual plant with dramatic large, loose balls of sweetly fragant flowers with fascinating long stamens that protrude out, giving them a spider like look.
