Built in 1857. It originally operated as the "Sleeping Bear House". The inn primarily served lumberjacks and dock workers in its early days. It later would be popular among tourists visiting the area. As business declined the the inn would later close in 1973. This building (and the rest of the town) would later be purchased by the National Park Service and restored. Sadly the inn is still closed to this day but it may reopen again in the near future.

I'm ready to go!
Next week i have to leave Italy and to go to Sweden!!! There will be a strange current local time: Sunrise at 3.39 and Sunset at 22.05 ...so i thought to make some eye masks, one of the best ways to get full, deep sleep.
These are for friends, but i want to make more!! :)

This Blythe doll is Leading Lady Lucy wearing her stock nightgown for “Festival of Sleep” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. The background is wrapping paper. I made the moon from cardboard and aluminum foil.
Last summer I was on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the early morming and came across a patch of flowers. Within the flowers I found several "sleeping bees". At first I thought they were dead, but as the sun came over the ridge they woke up and flew away.
Sound asleep with eyes closed, not appreciating the beauty surrounding it. I however am very happy to have that Autumn background.
