Very quick and easy block, it's mathematically impossible to match up the last bits, you would have to cut a segment out of the fabric, the width of your strip and then insert your strip to have it match...I think the point of the exercise was to not worry about it. From a distance your eye doesn't see it anyway. If I were to do this block over, I would rotate 1/4 turn as I added in the strips so that they looked woven.
