My default, within photography, is generally people focused, especially street photography, or capturing other candid moments. Within this, I'd like to think there is a common thread of humility throughout my shots.

Every now and then, however, (and especially in good light) my gaze is distracted towards subject matter where, on the surface anyway, the strive for humility takes a back seat. I am instead drawn to sleek lines, bold shapes; the abstract within man-made structures and buildings.

Of course, these shapes are often the result of human design and inspiration. Maybe there is humility there after all. I'll let you know when I come to a conclusion.
