A Nebulosa Crescente (NGC 6888) está localizada na constelação de Cygnus, a cerca de 5.000 anos-luz de distância da Terra. Formada pelo vento estelar intenso de uma estrela Wolf-Rayet massiva, a nebulosa adquire sua forma distinta à medida que o gás expelido da estrela colide com o material já lançado, criando ondas de choque. Essa interação dinâmica resulta em uma estrutura de filamentos coloridos, com tonalidades de vermelho e azul. É interessante que capturei este objeto em distâncias focais de 50mm, 310mm e agora 1100mm, o quanto os detalhes aumentam!

The Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) is located in the constellation Cygnus, about 5,000 light-years away from Earth. Formed by the intense stellar wind of a massive Wolf-Rayet star, the nebula takes on its distinct shape as the gas expelled by the star collides with previously ejected material, creating shock waves. This dynamic interaction results in a structure of colorful filaments, with shades of red and blue. It's fascinating that I've captured this object at focal lengths of 50mm, 310mm, and now 1100mm—seeing how the details increase each time!

Minha primeira foto do complexo Rho Ophiuchi! É uma gigante nuvem de gases coloridos e poeira, na constelação de Ofiúcio. Embora a foto tenha quantidade considerável de ruído, por não conhecer até então a técnica de dithering, foi muito bom fazer a primeira captura desse complexo. Foto foi feita com Canon T7 e lente 55-250mm em f4, na Chapada dos Veadeiros no @campingaldeia

Confesso que estava ansioso para postar essa foto. Minha primeira tentativa ficou desfocada e este é o resultado da segunda. Nebulosa do Anel (M57). Trata-se de uma Nebulosa planetária, uma das mais lindas... É o fim da vida de estrelas semelhantes ao sol, que expulsam suas camadas externas. Distante 1400 anos luz de nós, ela é relativamente pequena no céu, mas luminosa, com uma magnitude de 8,8. Assim como várias outras nebulosas planetárias, é possível notar sua anã branca no centro. Aplicada técnica de redução de estrelas na foto.

I confess that I was anxious to post this picture. My first attempt was out of focus, and this is the second. Ring Nebula (M57). It's a planetary nebula, one of the most beautiful, in fact. It's the end of the life of sunlike stars, that throw away its outter layers. Away from us 1400 ly, she is quite small, but bright, with a 8,8 magnitude. Just like many others planetary nebula, it's possible to see its remanescent white dwarf in the middle. Apllied stars reduction technic.

Dê zoom!!!! Quando estava iniciando como astrofotógrafo, lá pelo ano de 2020, conheci a Nebulosa Eta Carina (NGC3372) em todo seu brilho e tamanho no céu noturno, privilégio do hemisfério sul. Pesquisando sobre, vi que em seu centro existe a Eta Carinae, uma estrela hipergigante dentro da Eta Carina e que ejetou uma massa enorme de gás e poeira. Porém ao fotografá-la, me deparei com um desafio que não esperava encontrar em uma fotografia de céu profundo: ela é extremamente brilhante! (além de pequena) E aí está a dificuldade desse objeto e a razão de não vermos muitas fotografias amadoras da Homunculus. Definitivamente irei buscar mais detalhes neste objeto nas próximas capturas! A imagem é uma composição da nebulosa ao fundo e a Humunculus, com menos exposição.

Zoom in!!! When I was starting out as an astrophotographer back in 2020, I got to know the Eta Carina Nebula (NGC 3372) in all its brightness and size in the night sky—a privilege of the Southern Hemisphere. While researching it, I saw that at its center is Eta Carinae, a hypergiant star within Eta Carina that ejected a huge mass of gas and dust. But when I tried to photograph it, I came across a challenge I didn't expect in a deep-sky photo: it's extremely bright! (in addition to being small). That's the difficulty of this object and the reason we don't see many amateur photos of the Homunculus. I will definitely be looking for more detail in this object in my next captures! The image is a composite of the nebula in the background and the Homunculus, with less exposure.

Via Láctea! Minha melhor foto até o momento. Foram 9 minutos em um céu Bortle 1. Na foto é possível ver Rho Ophiuchi e várias nebulosas, Lagoa, Pata do gato, Trifídea, dentre outras. Impressionante o que uma lente do kit pode fazer! Não foi feito nenhum corte, então é possível notar as imperfeições nas laterais da lente. Ainda assim, gostei bastante da captura. Mais uma nebulosa planetária! Essa é a nebulosa Fantasma de Júpiter (NGC3242). Muito luminosa, foram apenas 16 fotos de 10 segundos! Impressionante como parece um olho, não é mesmo? A estrela central, expele as camadas externas até restar apenas uma anã branca que ilumina os gases ao redor. Assim formam-se os elementos: Carbono, Nitrogênio, Oxigênio e Hélio.

The central star expeled its outside layers until remains only the white dwarf that shines the gases. This is how it's formed the elements: Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxigen and helium.

Demorou mas chegou minha vez de capturar o cometa C/2020 F3 Neowise! Com uma magnitude muito menor que no hemisfério norte e reduzindo mais a cada dia. Fotos tiradas no dia 23/07/2020.

Muitos pensam que a cauda do cometa fica atrás dele em relação a direção que ele segue, mas não. A cauda do cometa fica na direção oposta do sol. Isso porque os raios solares que ionizam o cometa, fazendo com que gases ionizados sejam estados dele. É como se o sol emitisse o vento que empurra o que evapora do cometa.

As estrelas aparecem como Trails (arrasto), porque a órbita do cometa é rápida e está muito mais próximo de nós para que percebamos o movimento. Ele se desloca a 210.000km/h, orbitando o sol. Tinha que tirar essa foto, a final, ele só se aproximará do sol novamente, tornando-se visível, daqui a 6.766 anos!!! Nem Cristo viu esse cometa rsrsrsrs

A primeira foto foi com a Canon T7 acoplada a um telescópio Sky-watcher 200p, em foco primário. São 52 Light Frames de 8 segundos, ISO 400. A segunda foto é um single frame, sem tratamento, com as mesmas confiurações acima. A terceira foto é com a Canon T7 e uma lente 75-250mm, a 109mm, single frame tratado no Photoshop. Foram 6s com ISO 1600.

Mais uma captura de uma Nebulosa planetária, essa em formato de S, a NGC 5189. Nebulosas planetárias nada mais são que os últimos suspiros de uma estrela que não morrerá em uma supernova. Ela expele suas camadas externas conforme a fusão nuclear perde força e seus elementos ficam mais e mais pesados. O formato que os jatos de matéria são expelidos por elas varia, mas normalmente são circulares. É uma nebulosa bem brilhante, considerando o pouco tempo de exposição e nível de detalhes que consegui. Nebulosa da Água (M16 ou NGC6611) é uma nebulosa rica em h-alpha, um berço de estrelas a aproximadamente 6.500 anos luz da terra. Nela estão localizados os famosos pilares da criação, fotografados pelo Hubble. É possível vê-los bem definidos ao centro da imagem. Acredita-se que estes pilares não existam mais e que uma explosão de supernova os devastou. Vemos seu retrato de 6.500 anos atrás.

Eagle Nebula (M16 ou NGC6611) it's a nebula most of h-alpha, a star birth nebula aproximately 6.500 light years away from us. Inside of it are the famous Pillars of Creation, captured by Hubble Space Telescope. It's possible to see them well defined in the center of the nebula. Astronomers believe that the pillars don't exist anymore and a supernova destroyed them. We see it as it was about 6.500 years ago.

Sabe a nossa Via Láctea? Tendo um famoso formato em espiral? É assim que ela se parece quando vista lateralmente! As estrelas giram na órbita de um buraco negro super massivo central e tendem a ficar nesse formato de panqueca. Galáxias elípticas (em que não vemos um formato muito bem definido) normalmente são galáxias mais velhas e que são formadas pelo fruto da colisão de galáxias espirais. Este objeto é o NGC7814. Captura feita em local Bortle 4, usando filtro L-Pro.

Do you know our Milky Way? With its famous spyral shape? That's what it looks like when laterally seeing! The stars have an orbit around a central supermassive black hole and gain this shape of a pancake. Eliptical galaxies (that we don't see in a distinguish shape) usually are older and made by the collision of spyral galaxies. This is the NGC7814. The amazing Dumbbell Nebula was again one of my targets for this night.

This time i took a lot more frames, in total it was 70x10sec exposures. Exposing longer in total definetly helps with noise and detail. I also took darks and flats, the darks helped a lot with hotpixels on my camera sensor!

Centaurus A (NGC5128) uma das mais fascinantes galáxias. Formato peculiar, bastante brilhante mas com detalhes bastante sutis e tênues! Localizada a aproximadamente 10 a 16 milhões de anos-luz de distância na constelação de Centaurus e é uma das galáxias mais próximas da nossa Via Láctea e uma das mais ativas. A característica mais marcante da Centaurus A é essa impressionante faixa escura de poeira que a atravessa. Ainda há um m Buraco Negro Supermassivo em seu centro. Consumindo gás e poeira, ejeta poderosos jatos de partículas tênues que podem ser capturados. Com certeza farei mais horas de captura para trazer essas ejeções, inclusive em h-alpha. Mas agora só no ano que vem, devido sua posição no céu.

Centaurus A (NGC 5128), one of the most fascinating galaxies. It has a peculiar shape, is very bright, but also has subtle and faint details! Located approximately 10 to 16 million light-years away in the constellation Centaurus, it is one of the closest and most active galaxies to our Milky Way. The most striking feature of Centaurus A is the impressive dark dust lane that cuts across it. There is also a supermassive black hole at its center. By consuming gas and dust, it ejects powerful jets of faint particles that can be captured. I will definitely do more capture hours to bring out these ejections, including in H-alpha. But that will have to wait until next year, due to its position in the sky.

M87 ou Virgo A. É uma galáxia elíptica que possúi em seu centro um buraco negro supermassivo e que emite um jato relativístico a partir de seus pólos. O jato relativístico é uma emissão de partículas superquentes aceleradas quase à velocidade da luz. Essa jato é visível e na foto para vê-lo basta dar zoom no núcleo da galáxia. O buraco negro dessa galáxia foi o priemiro fotografado pelo homem.

M87 or Virgo A. It's an elliptical galaxy with a supermassive black hole in its center. In fact, this was the first black hole photographed in history. Another interesting fact it's the presence of a relativistic/astrophysical jet (zoom in the picture), in visible light, issued by its black hole in each one of its poles. Relativistic jets are superfast and superhot particles issued when it eat matter.

A piece of Heart Nebulosity! My first capture of NGC896! My most decent picture of this month i think ;). .It is a reprocess of data i captured December 18th. I am happy now to have captured lots of stuff in a couple of days there, since we are AGAIN having bad weather for a couple of weeks.

Strangely i just noticed the cluster of stars in this region, you can get a glance at it in the bottom left corner. I have not read anything about it, it is not listed i think, but to me it absolutely resembles a star cluster!

I am really happy how this picture came out in the end, the first shot at editing it was quite bad.

M83 é uma galáxia bem brilhante do céu do sul. É minha terceira captura tão luminosa. Consegui captar bastante luz, porém na mesma noite tive os artefatos, então não ficou com uma definição 100%. Ainda assim gostei dos detalhes e a quantidade de ruído que essa captura ficou, que foi bem disceto.

Nebulosa de Órion, M42 e M43. Mais uma captura. Não foi um processamento fácil. Embora seja uma Nebulosa muito brilhante e ativa na formação de estrelas, ela é difícil de processar justamente pelo mesmo motivo. O núcleo é muito brilhante e eu honestamente não gostei do resultado quando tentei trazer detalhes dele. Preferi assim, núcleo mais exposto.

Foram 24 Light Frames de 20s, ISO 1600, 40 Dark Frames, 40 Bias Frames, totalizando 8 minutos de exposição. Fotos tiradas dia 16/08/2020 com Canon T7 acoplada a um Telescópio Sky-watcher 200p, na Lagoa do Samuel.

Mais uma nebulosa planetária! Essa é a nebulosa NGC 2438. Assim como outras planetárias, é bem luminosa. Em seu interior, uma anã branca, núcleo restante da estrela que expeliu suas camadas externas para liberar todo esse material colorido que é possível ver na imagem. Tirei essa foto ainda em 2022 e estava guardada aqui.

Another planetary nebulae! This is the NGC 2438. A bright nebulae, like so many others. The central star is a white dwarf that expeled all its outside layers with all this colorful material seeing in the image. I took this picture a year ago and it was here without processing.

M51 são na verdade dois objetos. São duas galáxias em colisão. Uma simulação de computador mostra que a galáxia menor veio por baixo e entrou na órbita da galáxia maior. Este é um alvo que eu queria fotografar já desde o início do hobby mas, por ser baixo no horizonte, nenhuma foto me satisfazia. Essa foi uma que eu gostei. Apesar disso, reparei alguns artefatos nas estrelas, ocasionados por alguma questão dos espelhos. A próxima definitivamente farei a captura com filtros!

Les dejo un segundo procesado de esta nebulosa que fotografié hace unas semanas y luego de aprender nuevas técnicas creo que quedó mucho mejor de lo que pude hacer la primera vez sin tanto conocimiento. Sigo practicando para llegar a aprovechar cada sesión al máximo.

Esta es NGC 5189, una hermosa nebulosa planetaria espiral que se encuentra a 3000 años luz de la tierra.

Awesome, first time imaging the Horsehead Nebula. Sadly i cut of it's beautiful head . Just a little bit further down and i would have had it, but yeah shit happens :D. You can see part of it in the upper right corner.

But i like that detailed dust down there, almost looks like scratches in the sky. Or someone poked a hole into it.

M57, NGC6720 Nebulosa do anel. Bastante brilhante, a nebulosa planetária localizada a cerca de 2.300 anos-luz de distância na constelação da Lira (Lyra), ela é um dos objetos mais famosos do céu. Vemos aqui uma bolha de gás e poeira expelida por uma estrela no fim de sua vida. No centro da nebulosa, o núcleo remanescente da estrela, uma anã branca.

M57, NGC 6720 the Ring Nebula. A very bright objecto, the ring planetary nebula is located about 2,300 light-years away in the constellation Lyra, it is one of the most famous objects in the sky. What we see here is a bubble of gas and dust expelled by a star at the end of its life. At the nebula's center is the star's remaining core, a white dwarf.

Antares, estrela mais brilhante da constelação de escorpião, NGC6144 e NGC6121, aglomerados globulares, e IC4605, nebulosa de reflexão, pois brilha ao receber luz de sua estrela mais próxima. Na verdade esta captura fiz por engano, apontando para o objeto errado no céu rsrs mas acabei gostando do resultado e toda essa nebulosidade. Captura feita em Cocalzinho de Goiás (Bortle 3). Foi utilizado um filtro L-Pro.

Antares, the brightest star in the constellation Scorpius, NGC 6144 and NGC 6121, globular clusters, and IC 4605, a reflection nebula that shines by reflecting light from its nearest star. In fact, I captured this by mistake, pointing at the wrong object in the sky, haha, but I ended up liking the result and all the nebulosity. The capture was made in Cocalzinho de Goiás (Bortle 3). Revisitando Abell 39, uma das minhas nebulosas planetárias favoritas, se não a favorita. Seu formato circular quase perfeito e sutil azulado a tornam bem interessante. Revisiting Abell 39, one of my favorite planetary nebula, if not the favorite. Its almost perfect circular shape and subtle bluish hue make it quite fascinating. It is very faint, and capturing it, even with equipment that aids in automation, was a challenge! The capture was made in Chapada dos Veadeiros, Bortle 1, using a L-Pro filter.

NGC 7479 é uma galáxia espiral barrada pequena e tênue no céu. É possível ver de forma clara o motivo de ser chamada de espiral barrada: é uma espiral com uma barra principal ao centro, portanto com dois braços, e as pontas dessa barra formam a espiral conforme a galáxia gira ao redor de seu núcleo. Não consegui muito tempo de exposição e acho que por isso não consegui retirar muitas cores da imagem. Ainda assim gostei da captura e pegou bons detalhes. É minha última foto de céu profundo da sequência que capturei em julho na @pousadamirantedomorro
