Il reste un méchant artefact en bas à droite (derrière le M42 de la légende), dont je ne comprends pas l'origine, peut-être une étoile brillante hors champ...

This was first light with my Skywatcher 200p 8” newtonian (200 / 1000)
No coma corrector was used for this, but all subsequent shots have been taken with the SharpStar 0.95x coma corrector and so far delivers beautiful results while giving me some extra speed.
Captured late last year (2021) from my back garden.
Messier 33 (M33) is located 2.73 million light years away in the Triangulum constellation. It’s a small hop away from the famous M31, Andromeda Galaxy making it relatively easy to find in the night sky.
You’ll need quite dark skies to see it visually, but astrophotography can reveal all it’s faint details and colours.
I used my ZWO 533 camera to capture this with my 8” newtonian telescope from Skywatcher. I use a Ha filter to bring out the nebulae within the galaxy too.

NGC 6888 captured in hydrogen alpha and oxygen to reveal the faint intricate structures and details.
Captured from my back garden telescope
Having acquired a second hand Skywatcher 200P Newtonian and an EQ5 Pro, I thought I should try it out with a simple shot like this. Having discovered that Skywatcher T rings are larger than my Meade T ring (I really had assumed they were all the same) I await a new one. In the meantime I just held the camera up to the eyepiece aperture to take this.
30x 60's subs, flats, bias for some reason didn't do darks. First real attempt at this part of the night sky.

Tracking a bit better, now able to use higher magnification than on first night. 17.9 deg altitude.
