The Kohn Pedersen Fox designed Heron Tower isn't the most interesting addition to the London skyline but having been up the top recently to visit the Duck and Waffle Restaurant I can confirm the views from it are great.

From Wikipedia : "The Heron Tower (officially 110 Bishopsgate) is a commercial skyscraper in London. It stands 230 metres (755 ft) tall including its 28-metre (92 ft) mast (202 metres (663 ft) excluding the mast) making it the tallest building in the City of London financial district and the third tallest in Greater London and the United Kingdom, after the Shard in Southwark and One Canada Square at Canary Wharf. The Heron Tower is located on Bishopsgate and is bordered by Camomile Street, Outwich Street and Houndsditch.
Construction of the building started in 2007 and was completed in 2011. It is owned by Heron International and is generally known as the Heron Tower, though following a naming dispute in 2014 involving the tenant Salesforce.com the City of London ruled in favour of the property being officially named 110 Bishopsgate. The tower initially struggled to attract tenants in the depths of the Great Recession, but is now fully let."

Taipei 101 was officially classified as the world's tallest skyscraper from its opening on 31 December 2004 and the first building to break the half-kilometer mark in height (508.2 metres), but the Burj Khalifa surpassed it in 2010.
The design of Taipei 101 incorporated Asian pagoda, bamboo and Chinese-ingot symbolism; the bamboo element caught my attention even before it was finished and I had always wanted to see this building ever since!

30 St Mary Axe is a building in London's main financial district, the City of London. It is informally known as "The Gherkin", and sometimes as The Swiss Re Tower, Swiss Re Building, Swiss Re Centre, or just Swiss Re, after its previous owner but principal occupier. It is 590 ft (180 m) tall, making it the 2nd tallest building in the City of London, after Tower 42, and the 6th tallest in London as a whole. The design is by Pritzker Prize winner Sir Norman Foster and ex-partner Ken Shuttleworth and Arup engineers. It was constructed by Skanska between 2001 and 2004.
MahaNakhon is a luxury mixed-use skyscraper currently under final stages of completion prior to the grand opening in late 2016, located in the Silom/Sathon central business area of Bangkok, Thailand. it has been recognised as the tallest building in Thailand on 4 May by CTBUH at 314.2 metres with 77 floors.
The classic shot from Jose Rizal Park. Been wanting to come back to this spot for some time; finally made it. There are very few places to get a good skyline shot of Seattle. This is one of them.
