Clouds in a sky scape.

Even reindeer camp. Kamchatka. Russia Far East.

Here we camped for a night, our individual tents pitched upon the gently undulating, bountiful tundra of small wild berry shrubs, coarse grasses, lichens and mosses. Thousands of years of annual growths cushion the ancient underlying lava flows and rocks ejected from the surrounding volcanoes.

My first ever Land/Sky-Scape

It is often well worth staying a little longer, not just the sun going down but the afterglow.

The clouds can be very artistic and paint the way so that if you were to put it on canvas with oils, brush or palette-knife.

People would say, oh no, impossible, not on! LOL

The temperature of this pic captures, I think, the feel of heat and smog. With the wind turbines siloetted against the sun it poses many questions about the bigger picture.

I looked out through the skylight bedroom window after a saw a lovely glow on the bedroom wall to capture this beautiful sunrise on the hills above the town of Ramsbottom.

Hands on Sky'scaping

working on a timelapsed sunset ...

I have the darndest time trying to figure out where to put the sun in the 'scape ... so ... thought I'd try it ... right ... here . . . ; )

Monday 5am

When shooting the moon didn't turn out so well, i left my camera pointing to the sky and did some Ori Gersht style sky scapes. I love the colours that the light pollution creates.

From Dawlish Warren to Dawlish, perhaps a bit of a stretch of a panorama shot, but I liked the dramatic sky-scape
