It’s a digital microscope and I had hoped I could plug it right into my iPhone but I can’t. But I did go online and found a way to get it to woke with my Mac laptop. It’s all geared to a PC world. Pictures to follow. Really steep learning curve, especially those HS biology microscope moving skills

Can't quite make out the registration, but Skills fleet number 46 is on its way to at least Bridlington when seen in Wetwang on 23rd May 1976.
The relatively rare sight of an ALX400 in Nottingham... the type never really gained a stronghold in the city since NCT preferred East Lancs products at the time and Trent/Barton haven't bought new deckers since something like the 80s. A trickle of them appear from the coach operators, like this ex-London United example from Skills, which is one of just two you'd regularly find in the city when employed on the UoN student contract. The ex-Dublin B7TL ones are gaining traction in roles formerly fulfilled by their Olympian predecessors, Dennis ones are about with the likes of Redfern but don't seem to touch the city and DAF ones are pretty much nonexistent round here. Shame they didn't build them on Scania chassis; I'd have liked those!
The UoN shuttle is run by Littles nowadays, who appear to be using some ex-Lothian things. I saw one recently.

I don't care much about travel photography, but I've always been fascinated by pictures taken at the beginning of 19th century with anthropological and ethnological purposes (stuff like the one shot by McClees & Vannerson or Charles Milton Bell) and it has been a very long time since I actually sat Mire in front of the camera.
So I took shameless advantage of her amazing features and styling skills and between girly talk and tea and mochi we had fun

Some trails at Glacier National Park were closed because some snow fields haven't melted yet. That didn't stop this guy from traversing these snow fields using crampons and an ice axe for face to face view of Grinnell Glacier further above. You can see the actual trail a little further up, behind that big boulder. Regular hikers stopped where the foreground snow field begins clapped for him, as he finished the traverse.
