Think I shot these on day one at the ski school. By day four of half-day lessons, big sister was up on the top of the mountain riding the lifts like it was no big deal.

January 24, 2010. Staying at Trukee, skiing at NorthStar resort. After a massive snowstorm, North Tahoe looks like a winter wonderland.
Here I am on my 30th b-day! I told DH that I wanted to feel like I was 20 on my 30th, so he agreed to take me skiing :)
It had been a couple of years...but it's like riding a bike...it comes right back :) This is actually how I met my DH many, many years ago!
Where it never snows.... ski trail in the Sonoran desert. Really? Perhaps they ran out of hiking trail sign...It was rough enough I would not even consider it bikable...
