Or at least I think it's pork; I'm not too good with differentiating pork from beef. Eeep.
Really good dish though!
just made some new kebabs for my first time:
fresh sea scallops
sockeye salmon
red/yellow/green peppers
onions
zucchini
summer squash
mushrooms
grape tomatoes
Summer bbq (and non-birthday) at 124: kebabs again, just like last year, Lyndell's, just like last year - all well-documented.
Scallops and shiitake mushrooms topped with apples and a lime sauce. Grilled for about 30 seconds at our table.
Christiane is definitely not a fan of mushrooms but even she agreed that the shiitake were awesome.
I couldn't resist using the little BBQ to toast a slice of bread.

Antipasto skewers - tomatoes and mushrooms marinated in balsamic and oil, greek olives, salami and marinated mozzarella. If you saw that at your holiday party, you'd be psyched, right? (These are about half vegetarian, half carnivorous.)
Our old skewers were nice and light and did a good job of holding the
wheels in the frame but truth be told I was never 100% happy with the
handle's shape so we commissioned a new design.
The shafts are made from 6-4 titanium and all the nuts and levers are
CNC'd aluminium. The lever pivots on a small brass ball joint to keep
things nice and smooth. The levers are slightly longer and much
flatter than our old version and are much more comfortable to use,
plus each handle has a laser-etched Wheelworks W. Each pair weighs
only 48 grams.
These skewers are included with all of our custom road wheels.
