still a lot to learn when it comes to lightpainting.
And some things to remember with regards to safety (narrow walkway and steep drops on either side.....in the dark).

This was taken last Summer when I was wandering around in Salton City. I stopped next to this abandoned building and found these mud cracks on the ground very interesting. The clouds above looked just like a giant white sheet of cloth. As I only had a point and shoot film camera with me, I tried to composed a little something from the ground and something from the sky as well. The whole scene actually looked quite surreal. I was a little uneasy with this whole area as I appeared too much like an outsider. Therer were campers and RVs parked along the street, and I felt like I was constantly being watched. No sooner had I taken this shot, I quickly hopped back into my car and quickly drove away.

Sketchy for the drivers, but epic for the photographers. Secodn time in 25 years, I've had a race with this much water coming down at Road America, and this time they actually drove in that weather...
