Sketchnote resumen de la charla sobre Visual Thinking de Rafa Vivas en el Centro de Innovación BBVA 13 de mayo de 2015

This sketchnote is featured in Eva-Lotta's new book that gathers her sketchnotes from over 100 talks taken at design events and conferences in 2011.

In addition, Eva-Lotta invited 10 of her favourite sketchnoters from all over the world to contribute to the book. They all sketched the same TED talk and created some stunning sketches that show off the wide variety of styles and different ways of summarising content.

Sketchnote of an outstanding talk given by Paul O'Neill, former head of Alcoa and Treasury Secretary. You can see his talk on YouTube here.

I did this just few minutes after finishing to read The Sketchnote Handbook. I had no idea of what to write or topic, I just wanted to give a try.

Sketchnote of Yiming Qiu's Coffee & Neutrons talk about how the Higgs Amplitude mode was measured using the MACS neutron spectrometer and polarized neutrons at the NCNR.

Main visual used in my keynote address to the attendees of the 2019 DENIM (Design & Engineering of Neutron Instruments Meeting). It was a great privilege to give this presentation. I presented this visual using TAWE.

Sketchnote of Fr. Matt Carnes' homily at 9 am Mass today at St. Rose of Lima Parish. I haven't been making "finished" homily sketchnotes recently but Fr. Matt's poignant homily was especially meaningful for me. Thank you, Fr. Matt.

Sketchnote of a new paper reporting polarized inelastic neutron scattering to probe the spin dynamics of a coupled anti-ferromagnetic spin-ladder. Using polarized neutron scattering the researchers were able to distinguish between the transverse and longitudinal modes which allowed them to measure a mode analogous to the Higgs amplitude mode.

Sketchnotes on why I recommend capturing travel sketchnotes and how you can do it too.

Created for my guest post on the ImageThink blog.

Travel sketchnotes from a great and fun filled weekend in Brighton.

Sketchnote captured live at the NLDC conference in Hinckley, MN, June 2018.

Designing for trust and security (Thomas Otto)

Sketchnote of the four key design principles from Robin Williams' excellent book "The Non-Designer's Design Book". I applied these four principles to sketchnotes, layouts and the organization of content in particular.

Sketchnote of Celeste Headlee's GREAT TEDx talk. Today the NIST Sketchnote Community used this talk to practice sketchnoting. The message really resonated with me.

Sketchnote of Ed Binkley's short presentation on how neutron velocity selectors work. Ed is a mechanical engineer at the NCNR and learned about velocity selectors when he was called upon to repair one that had vibration issues due to a bad bearing.

The Coffee & Neutrons talks are a series of 10 minute informal presentations designed to be accessible to all and the purpose is to share what we do with everyone in the organization.

I've been working on slides for a science highlight I'll cover in an upcoming presentation that involved biological components and I needed to draw several coils. This is a nice trick (that many already know about) but I wanted to make a quick tutorial for posterity.
