My latest sketch of the Rotunda at National Trust Croome Court, designed by Capability Brown, built between 1754 - 1757 as a relaxing garden room. I still have some work to do with lots of shading and details to go. I'm always adding extra pensils and and paper, plus odds and ends to my kit, yet I probably only use three different pensils for the majority of my work!
Sketched from a photo taken with an 8" Ritchie Chretien telescope with Baader filter and Canon 1100D
A rework of a photo I uploaded before. This time made with black outlines and saturated colours to create a comicbook-like look.
The sketches are about a trip in nord-east of Turkey that I have done last month following a group of photographers. It was really interesting to compare the ideas of pictures with them.

Just a very quick digital sketch. I tried to summarize everything,
showing 2 persons kissing and being part of the heart itself.
I might be working on this later on.
Thanks for your visit. Love is a big source of inspiration for me.

The Love Heart
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
The love heart is we
Both of us true
As feelings need to be
So life can renew
Easy comes from a stream
Flowing to the head
One in two it seem
Turning love to red
This is you and I
Giving of our touch
To the night dream sky
With its love so much
Nothing can be said
That isn't already here
Heart of one - two head!
So we both can share
Opposite two in one
Coming with love thru
Till our time's gone
In a rising dawn dew
Easy comes from a dream
That we together had
When love’s its true theme
Nothing needs to add
Here's a hand drawn sketch I made, probably during a slow period during a meeting for example. It was made on computer printer label stock which seems to have an especially fine surface which accepts ink* rather well. For whatever reason on one particular printer, whenever a set of labels are printed the machine always produces one at the end of the job that is blank perhaps to assure that the last label printed doesn't get cut off short. Of course, because the labels are stored in continuous bulk within the printer, (roll or accordion fold I don’t know) reloading the 'unused' blank ones is not possible. Often, the blank ones are cast aside for any imaginable use.
This illustration is of a motorist being barraged with a stream of auto parts coming from either a car ahead or even perhaps the car of the motorist! It doesn't really matter, of course. It's just an idle, whimsical sketch of a nonsensical topic!
*I really like Uni-Ball Signo gel pens. The ink dries much faster than the very popular Pilot G4 and is less apt to wash away.
