Waiting for my MSC to arrive this week, so I decided to sketch up my vampire girl that is coming! She won't be getting a black wig, I'm thinking teal. I want her to be really blushy like she was in the cold for too long. Light gray eye makeup and a shiny nose. I think this is the plan so far for her, she is shipping tomorrow I believe and will be here this week.
I ran out of MSC yesterday, so I will be rerooting and carving the faceplates that are here now this week until it gets here! Sorry for the delay guys! <3
Sketch created at the eyepiece of a Helios 102mm refractor fitted with a Zoom eyepiece, on a Skywatcher AZGTi mount set up in my back garden in Oxfordshire.
I used black paper and Stabilo CarbOthello pastel pencils.
I have created many eyepiece sketches over the past 10 years, but tonight was the first time I've actually created a sketch of the Moon live at the eyepiece. Until now, all of my lunar sketches have been created from photos! It was a challenge because it was well below freezing and my eyepiece kept misting up.
Composite. A bringing together of five original Mandelbulb 3D images using Photoshop layers that have been warped, filtered, faded, coloured, and scaled, to satisfy my own compositional needs. Although this is no more than a digital doodle (and that others have produced some stunningly convincing stills and animated sequences using this amazing programme,) I hope that it adds to the pot without being 'tacky' or superficial.
Selfie editing in pencil sketch. I do like this comic book style, it is so much fun, better than the original picture, ha ha!
Sometimes a sketch does not turn out well as a print and this is a good example. The medium is different so behaves differently, but still, I would have liked this to have turned out with a bit more life to it. It may well be one of those pieces I tweak later with the aid of some pastels. :)
Rough freehand sketch of a fictional scene depicting an abandoned trolleybus of British outline in a scrap yard. I haven't drawn anything like this for years; it's purely of the top of my head, so a dabble in the dark .
Watercolor sketch quickly done on a small scrap of paper. I was attempting to render the glow from a candle. I was painting mostly wet into wet and kind of like the way the water and pigments flowed to create this image.

Este sketch es una de las tareas de la Sketchbook Skool. Liz Steel nos pidió analizar al máximo detalle posible una taza de té. A mi me sirvió para conservar el recuerdo de mi abuela desayunando con este set.
Liz Steel's assignment for SBS, we had to analise the detail and pattern of a tea cup. It helped me to keep my grandmother's memory using this breakfast set.
Sketch in two stages: pen light lines for of a rainy evening in my neighborhood, from the VW. And then the second stage: my first test with acrylic with the result of a very very heavy spread .... not so my taste :-).
Sketch en deux temps : traits légers un soir de pluie, depuis le VW, vue de mon quartier, puis 2ème temps : mon 1er essai avec de l'acrylique, pour un résultat très tartiner.... pas trop de mon goût, bah, faut bien tenter.
A cup a day sketch challenge. This one with watercolor pencils and ink while listening to oamyoamy podcast.
