With Greg, drawing a little near the "rue de Charonne", this passage "Lhomme" is full of charm, with greenery, and its cobblestones. On the left, typical Parisian newspaper kiosk. In the middle Greg :).
Evening sketch : sat down at a terrace, no special view, so picked up these two buildings and started to do my lines :). Rue Prudhon.

Le thème était "Do it yourself" (Fais le toi-même).

Responsiveness in Design panel discussion at IIT Institute of Design in Chicago, IL. December 3rd, 2013.
This is what my desk looked like when I was a child. The space below was one of my favourite hiding places when I couldn't be outside on a tree. I even had a blanket as a curtain, for extra privacy. The rest of the equipment included:
- an old camping mat
- a cassette player
- a light globe
- a load of comics
- a faux solar system made with Christmas ornaments so that I could play E.T. ('Teleefonoo CAAASAAA!')
- LOTS of wooden toys and puzzles
- A map of places I wanted to visit
- A porthole drawn on the wall with Poscas, that was not very well received by my Mom. I have to thank Dr Spock for getting away with it (not the one from Star Trek). I needed a window to play Nautilus!
- a secret diary, teddies and rag dolls.
