This was the first sketch I did in Antibes. I just moved there and the feeling was: "Take a pencil and DRAW!"

Sketch, onstage with The Sketch Band at the Southern California Fair in Perris, California in October, 2006.
This was a big-tent concert, with something like 1,000 seats. The Sketch Band played right before and after REO Speedwagon, who played the main arena about 50 yards away. It was a fun night – especially when REO Speedwagon ended their set before some of their fans were ready to head home.

I lightly sketch the designs that I'm going to make onto the back of the critters using a needle tool.
Here are some character design sketches for my current short anthology comic strip. The main character is a mother, but I made her look too stern at first, then went for shorter hair and younger. I\'m still not quite decided on her final look though. She doesn\'t seem scruffy enough for a post-apocalyptic survivor, although the last sketch isn\'t too far off...
Currently facing an information management crisis. Can't believe I spend all these hours figuring out what is the best way to gather, organise and store info I (think I) need. :(
