Artist: Lily Z. Mercado

Title: Ejected Elwood

Product: Garbage Pail Kids

Series: Prime Slime - Sketch Cards - Die Cut

Release Date: October 2016

Manufacturer: Topps

Details: This is a one-of-a-kind piece of hand-drawn art. Five different styles of sketch cards were offered as inserts in the GPK Prime Slime series. The Die-Cut style of sketch cards were available in Hobby packs (1:165 chances) and Collector's packs (1:144 chances). The card is signed by the artist (front and back) as they also wrote the title and a small message "Hi!". Given my love for both the Blues Brothers and Garbage Pail Kids, this is certainly a cherished item.

The mass manufactured version of the artwork was part of the previous year's (2015) "30th Anniversary" set, in the "80's Spoof" subset as cards19a Ejected Elwood and 19b Jazzy Jake.
