Abstract sketch no. 534 - Untitled OR Appollo, father of Helios(wrong, sorry)
This sketch was done last Monday,26th March, at Jaime's Art Group,St Martin-in-the-Fields. Robert said sorry for showing it, not being a great artist, and said someone else had chosen this sketch, as the best of three. He is trying to do something different in each abstract. First came the shapes, starting with the yellow sun - then other shapes, rings, triangles, squares. It came out of his head - pure imagination. He tried using dots, although the shapes and dots were always done together. He always does "mr nokkon wood" , a cartoon drawing, of himself , which is like a signature. Cliff asked whether it is a burden to put him in every time. He answered "yes and no". On the one hand, he likes doing mr nokkon wood to gain practice in perspective. On the other hand, he doesn't think he is a good artist, and it is always a bit trying to be doing something new. He usually uses water colours.
How does he choose shapes and colours when doing abstract art? Or were they to hand? He does them in batches of 10, starting with the frames and then doing the background.
He does abstract art for many reasons. One of them is that now, no-one can say it is wrong. This is perhaps "irresponsible art".
with thanks to Stewart for taking notes
mr nokkon wood is in watercolour
Boba Fett, CZ-4, Dengar, Darth Vader, Luke, Darth Maul, McQuarrie Chewbacca, General Grevious and Leia. These are the 9 dudes I chose to redo in my style. There are 56 different versions of these dudes.
They are mixed in as chase cards.

My first sketchcard I've drawn... For myself! I plan to do all the characters from the game eventually. Eek!
Sorry for lack of photos and lack of communication. Getting to the computer is harder for me now and typing on phone is weird. My dolls are all in storage as well so I haven't had time to play with them. :(
I haven't had time to write back via computer but if anyone wants to contact me via snail mail let me know! Oddly enough right now I'm a bit better at that. XD

Chris Evans as “Captain America” Sketch Card on personal stock (2.5" x 3.5") Think this guy is finished! And fairly confident it’s the most time I’ve spent on a single card thus far. Struggling a bit with color application, but learning as I go. :) … #captainamerica #chrisevans #avengers #civilwar #seanpence #sketch #sketchcard #artwork #drawing #illustration #instaart #fanart #ink #portrait #arts_gallery #spotlightonartists #artist_sharing #arts_help #art_collective #art_empire #artscloud #art_posting #artistic_nation #dailyartistiq #supportart #marvel #imgallery #theartisthemotive #artacademy #worldofpencils @illustratedmonthly

I hope you guys won't mind a little of my art thrown in the mix here.
I'm a little (read: a lot) obsessed with Jason Momoa lately. So I drew him as Aquaman for fun in between work stuff. (I mostly work in marker on 3.5x2.5" trading card-sized stock the past few years.)
Here are all the sketch cards I made in July!
They're for sale if anyone wants one, visit ctupa.com/blog for details
