Since the birth of Mio my work in my sketchbook is erratic as best. it's extremely unfocused and random.
This is my "flippy-floppy" sketchbook. I constructed it and had it bound at the local copy store. It is double-bound, so it OPENS on both sides! I love how when it opens, it has four pages in a row to work on.

This page constitutes a collage from 10 of my sketchbook pages. Counting from the top left page(1a) we see the planning of my project named 'Floating Dreams Installation' were it shows the materials that i used and the ideas that are presented in the final piece. The (2a) page show the reflections on the 'Floating Dreams Installation'. The pages (3a) and (4a) represent the planning of the costumes, the make up and the whole project of the 'Futuristic Photo Shoot', were some of the costumes and the accessories that were used are sketched. Page (5a) is an experimentation and a representation of the human heart. Going down to the second sequence of pages we can see in page (1b) a research text on dadaism movement. Page (2b) represent my research on Kirsty Mitchell, which constitutes my inspiration for the 'Dream World Photo Shoot'. Page (3b) is my research on my favorite fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood, were I have included my personal opinion for her and the reason why i love her and admire her as an artist and designer. The (4b) page shows my reflections on the 'Kid dress' project. Finally, sketchbook page (5b), is a painting with soft pastel on Futurism which is a study and an effort to understand the concept of this movement better and finally transfer it to my 'Futuristic Photo Shoot'.
