Had the staff sit at the table (the table would also bounce some light up). To camera left is a softliter umbrella 60". I have actually used only my 550ex with this setup and in a room it has enough power (but I used the bigger light so I would have the modeling light to help focus). To the other side is a litepanel with white fabric to bounce light back. The background is about 6 feet back. I only used one light (originally was going to use another light on the background but I got so much spill and it looked okay so I did away with the second light). Something along the lines of a set up I saw a video of on strobist a while back. I also turned off the overhead lights first. I literally took photos of 10 staff in under 5-minutes with this set up. Could have done better with more time but they only asked for snapshots anyway. Hope you find the photo of the set up useful. It goes with the photo "portrait" that I have also posted here.

To get from the ferry pier to the train station is about a 3/4 mile walk through the woods and up a very steep slope (there are wooden stairs). We kept wondering if we were going the right way because there were no other people, forks in the path and no signage. Not a walk I would want to take after dark.

Tendered in to South Queensferry, walked through the woods to the railway station and rode ScotRail into Edinburgh for a stroll around town.

This is a single frame of the nearly eclipsed moon from last night.

I found that the longest exposure that I could reasonably use with the 300 mm lens is no more than .5 seconds. Anything longer gave star trails and thus blurred features on the moon's face. In retrospect, I probably should have set up the telescope mount.

For this image, I brought the raw file into PPL4 and applied a slight curve to bring up the darks and temper the lights, some noise reduction, and cropping.

This tiny board has a Nordic nrf51822 SOC with all the supporting circuitry on it. This thing will be packaged with a tiny coin cell battery and will be the next version prototype for the Findy project. Here the entire board can be seen fitting on a 1 cent coin :) Next version will be even smaller with a smaller programming header and maybe even a tiny whip antenna.

Phantom - Lazy Fascist - UK - 1978 by Klaus Hiltscher

This was a single which I bought from Melody Maker Single Reviewer IAN BIRCH, via David Ramsden. That's the reason for the added Press Release Paper. The Press Statement is a a bit strange and funny. My english is really far from being perfect, but I can understand a lot. That the band is against NF (National Front) is okay. But this political statement sounds to me a bit crazy/funny. The song - a kind of slow pop reggae.
