These Vultures, along with Black Vultures, use the roof of the barn as their perch. Ive watched them land on it and...well, theyre not very graceful! ha. Once I saw a pair trying to land close together. One was able to land but the other one went tumbling down the roof and almost fell to the ground. He was able to recover himself by taking flight. He sure did make alot of noise rolling down the metal roof. ha. Mt Juliet, Tn.
Spotted Frogs singing in small pond at Phillips Farm County Park, Latah County, Idaho. Pretty sure that they are Spotted Frog, Rana pretiosa.

Trees by Terry Allen at the UCSD Stuart Collection. Three trees have different character. In the Eucalyptus grove there is a singing and talking tree. This one was kind enough to serenade us with a bright ditty as we observed it.
"Max and Ruby" is a new favorite show--second only to Pink Panther. I remember this was Emma's favorite for a long time. Faith usually sings it with a little more flair. She needs to learn to perform for the camera!

Today Jackie was busy so I walked Ruby down the Cuckoo Trail to Sicklehatch Lane and back through the woods so today was the day to concentrate on what would normally be called garden birds but in my opinion they are all very special and very beautiful so 8 images of them on my walk.with one of my favourites as the image of the day.
