It is not certain the dating of any version of these seals. This is what has been found. The images beg at least one clean up project to render a good copy. We know at the very least, the family was Sinclair, St. Clair or Sinkler. I think I have some history stashed somewhere. I will look.
This series will chronicle the construction of the new interstate bridge carrying highways MN 43/WI 54 across the Mississippi river between Winona, Minnesota and Buffalo County, Wisconsin. The project began in July 2014 with plans to build a new bridge next to the existing (circa 1941) span, which will remain in use after completion.
February 19th, 2015: Among the businesses being displaced by the project is this Sinclair station at 2nd and Huff streets, still in operation back in August 2014 (above) and today (below). It closed for business in December 2014.
Seen on the wall of a restaurant in York, WA. I liked the very honest juxtaposition of the picture of a dinosaur and the words "motor oil".

Rubbish iPhone shot, because it's less obtrusive than a honking great telephoto lens. Also, because I can upload it within hours, rather than weeks. Matt Jones is more timely.
