Simpsons minifigures have landed! I wasn't going to get these, but I really wanted Itchy and Scratcy... as you can see, attempt one did not get me Itchy or Scratchy, but a whole bunch of others. All of these had unique dot/bump codes, which helped me avoid doubles. I'll give it another go at the weekend.

It is seen here in Edinburgh operating Scottish Citylink service M92A to Aberdeen.
This Photo has always been one of my favourites. Other photos I’ve taken come and go, however this one always remains. I love the expanse of the tree branches, and the texture of the bark. I also love the depth within this photo as it heads deeper into the gap. Just on the term photo, this vista is actually a composition of 24 individual photos taken to capture the entire scene from the bark in shadow to the blue sky almost directly into the sun. The fact that is was so difficult to shot, could also be a reason why it means what it does to me. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, and how I wanted to compose the scene, but wasn’t sure it would work. So I was over the moon when it all came together so beautifully.

Harper’s Bazaar August 007 ~ “The Simpsons go to Paris with Linda Evangelista” “Models”: The Simpsons, Linda Evangelista, and various designers with Illustrations by Julius Preite. Marge lets down her hair for Versace. Lisa gives up her pearls for Alber Elbaz. Homer dresses as Karl Lagerfeld. Selma & Patty in Viktor & Rolf. Maggie rides around in Jean Paul Gaultier’s Birkin Bag. Quite possibly the most incredible fashion spread i’ve seen (ok maybe tied with the Marie Antoinette Vogue spread?). My girlfriend and I have pooled our toy collections together into our display shelves. She has more early Simpsons dolls than what's shown here but we've run out of shelf space (for now). Note the Lisa figure still on the card; I thought that the early Simos were on a pink background but it turns out white was the original packaging colour.

The Simpson Farm has several hundred old cars, trucks, tractors, and even fire engines parked in neat rows with over 20 acres of open fields. It's an amazing place to photograph.
