I had not been to the beach all summer and given how hot it has been, I finally went on a Friday after work. Crane Beach is one of my favorite places. I walked along the beach for about 2 miles and then dove in as the usually freezing Atlantic Ocean was warm and inviting, I stayed for a while after until just before sunset. The sun was setting a little out of view but what caught my eye was the horizon line appearing out to sea. The pink and blue hues turned the water a pretty aqua color. On my way home, I stopped for a giant ice cream cone to cap off the experience! Wishing everyone a great week ahead!

A second xray on my left foot indicated an Avulsion Fracture. Where an injury causes a ligament or tendon to break off a small piece of bone. I have a follow-up appointment at a fracture clinic. I'm getting around slowly wearing a walking boot. Can still drive and get out and take photos of roadside and garden flowers.
Aspen leaves on a foggy morning in May. Love aspen. With or without dew.
Have you had a chance to hear aspen leaves flutter in wind? Delicate, peaceful sound to me. Or to see aspen trees rotate hues from green to golden in autumn?

Another from the other morning, just after dawn at Ullswater in the Lake District. Everywhere you looked along the edge of that lake provided a masterpiece of a view in every direction. Just one of those days that makes you happy to be alive :)
