Not much to tell you guys today, it has been a very relaxed weekend, visiting the family and so on. Keeping it simple I guess:)
This morning I looked at myself in the mirror and OMG my belly is a lot bigger than on Friday!!! I am starting to freak out... I mean... all of that needs to come out from somewhere!!! LOL And I have 3 more months to go!!! Aaaaaargh!! I had a dream about it last night also, totally insane!!

I decided to throw together an engine using some ideas I had for different ways of doing things.
* Train PF Motor with large wheels - I wanted to see if this looked alright in terms of wheel spacing, etc. AND if it assisted with traction (rather than relying on powered tenders to push engines along) as it would make some builds a little less difficult and allow just the batteries to be kept in the tender. Results: Looks good enough, and whilst traction was good, it worked better with the AA pack and could do with more weight in the boiler.
*Simple pony truck with floating second axle - I decided to have a go at this for two reasons. I wanted the pony truck to have a more natural movement around the track (rather than the whole thing popping out from under a train around bends) and to try and create more clearance for pistons. Result - Movement is great, but pistons still need to either be higher, or floating (so they move out of the way).

Title artwork for a new series that begins this Sunday. This series will serve as 2010 vision casting series...that all of church (and our lives) is really centered on the cross and if we simply proclaim a "lifted Christ" that he will draw men unto himself...based on Jn 12:32. Obviously I wanted to keep the design "simple", but also to illuminate the center focus - Christ crucified.
Thoughts? Improvements?
I did this simple design at a birthday party in Albuquerque,New Mexico, we had about 250 teens to do henna on! We had a lot of fun!
