Healing with Color is easy and for me, it really works. I don't think healing means that everything is suddenly better or an illness is cured. It's more about a moment in time when I have an important insight that helps me move forward or understand better what is troubling me.
Illness, particularly chronic illness, often comes in waves. One day might be fair, another good and some are very difficult.
Healing with color is a form of meditation. I love the pumpkin-orange. My friend, Sue, from Dreamwalker's Sanctuary, remarked that orange is energizing, which made sense that I was so attracted to it a few weeks ago when fatigue and sadness were challenging my body and heart.
The various yellows in the botanical gardens toward the end of summer and in the first days of Autumn, immediately drew me into a brighter place in my mind. I like that, even if the feeling only lasts for a few minutes.
Thanks for dropping by Green Healing Notes and/or my Flickr photostream!
Peace and Blessings.
After all, I think something simple is easier to match for many people.
Everyone has different taste.

I know you'd think that one of my simple joys is being with my family since yesterday was Thanksgiving. And really, it is a BIG simple joy to be with them. But I failed to take a picture while we were together so I'll go with the one I did take this week.
I was greeted by these ducks while waiting for my friend and her children to join me at a park at Lake Stevens for a quick photog session. I totally get that these little guys were demanding me to feed them. And the one looking up at me is only doing so because he got excited when I pulled my phone out of my camera bag. But for some reason it was nice to have them come running over to me like they were excited to see me. It reminded me the importance of being kind to anyone I come into contact with. To recognizing them with a smile on your face and say a quick, "hello", can bring a simple joy into their day.
Truth be told, these dudes ditched me as soon as they realized I didn't have food and they spotted someone else walking along the beach. :-)
