I went to a welcome dinner run by the University today, but just outside at XJTLU was a 'Simple Music Festival'. It was raining but they went on anyway. I only stayed for one of the band, but they were alright. Photo taken by Samsung NX100 Sports Scene Mode.

Just one lone grape hyacinth poked through the ground at the cabin.
I liked how, even with the blue color selected on the camera, this whole shot seems muted and so simple.
Mama told me when I was young
Come sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say.
And if you do this
It will help you some sunny day.
Take your time... Don't live too fast,
Troubles will come and they will pass.
Go find a woman and you'll find love,
And don't forget son,
There is someone up above.
And be a simple kind of man.
Be something you love and understand.
Be a simple kind of man.
Won't you do this for me son,
If you can?
Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need is in your soul,
And you can do this if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.
Boy, don't you worry... you'll find yourself.
Follow you heart and nothing else.
And you can do this if you try.
All I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.

I took my daughter to see Simple Plan this summer. She insisted on getting closer to the band, towards the stage. The funny thing is that once we got to where we could not go further she realized she was too short to see the stage because the crowd was two heads taller than she is. Any way... you had to be there.
White can capture your senses and especially when shown in all of its "Simple Lightness" and appreciated for such.
