I took this photo 5 years ago, I’ve not processed it or show before because it was not the type of photo I went out that night to capture. Now I think the simplicity of the composition is captivating. I went out that night to capture a lovely sunset and that I did. This copse of tree’s was always the subject but a big orange sky was my hope and focus so this photo that has caught the best light on the trees was ignored. I hope you can see what I see now and haven’t just skipped passed it to view that next big over saturated landscape.

Soft, even, overcast light and a Dunlin standing pretty along the shore. The chaos of the 100s of other shorebirds surrounding this one fades away when this beauty isolated itself to my right.
