Sometimes simple things can be wonderful :)
This was taken in Aleppo.
The 2 boys are brothers, the one at the back asked me himself to take photos of him, so i took several shots. Meanwhile the younger one seemed not fond of the idea so he ran away :)
Nonetheless, nearly 10 minutes later the older brother came shouting NOW to take a picture :) hehe... funny enough .. the story continues when their sister arrives ;;;; hehe
What is fascinating is how successful public spaces are in Aleppo, always full with people and especially kids.
I wish Beirut had as much as public spaces. But what was really frustrating lately, was with the latest attempt by the municipality of Beirut to transform the 2 last public gardens in Beirut into parking lots, as they claimed underneath them :S. How arrogant and ignorant... luckily the plan is halted [for now] due to the massive objections.. I really hope the mayor won't think again of destroying even 1 cm of both gardens.

Simple Minds are a Scottish rock band who achieved worldwide popularity from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s.
These were the cupcake boxes given to all Harris' Friends, 28 simple cupcakes with 100's and 1000's sprinkles ~ orange and blue to match his cake.
I would of loved to of done more exciting designs....but the NEC cupcake order stopped that!
I baked 'cupcake' cookies for all the party kids too...but just ran out of time to decorate them!! They were happy with the cupcakes and didn't no they were missing out!
I think i will try and decorate them this weekend and Harris can then take them to nursery next week!

*NEWS FLASH*
right..something bugged me this week..some news to be precise. I never read it, i never watch it..i live ignorantly to the worlds woes only because i have strong emotions and i cant bear seeing bad things happen when theres people out there trying to make the world right and they dont get a look in..its all pretty much negative stuff plastered around us..
I went on a web site and i naively clicked on a link..it was a video from a phone of the Iranian girl who got shot and bled to death, my heart immediately sank, my head stuck in a depressive state for the rest of the day..i went out,took pictures, my chest still aching so much from the sadness of watching something so mortifying, undignified and disrespectful that lasted all but a few seconds.
This is what happens to me, i cant shrug these things off, i cant switch it off, so how can i watch/read these awful things when i deeply think about them-its not that simple, i CANT because i know i am helpless.CALLING ALL transformers, superman,Supergirl, batman, he-man, she-ra,..where the hell are you??
oh and to top it off..*Jon turns telly on*...king of pop..noooooo you cant die!

When the weather keeps you from enjoying your deck, a simple Suntuf corrugated vinyl cover can keep you dry in the rain and cool in the sun. We repaired and refinished this customer's old deck and added this 24'x12' cover, which was engineered to withstand hurricane-force wind. Keep in mind that any cover over 200 square feet will need a permit and possibly engineering.
This is simple pose for at startup. Everyone can do it. It helps to stretch your muscles of the whole body.
A quite a simple photo, but sometimes the simplest work best. That is the National Museum on the far right.

Believe it or not.. This crop is shorter than I imagined.
Buuut I couldn't get myself to make it any smaller! I just had this idea so solid. So yeah; I hate saying this. But view large!

Inspired by a moment I had today when it was raining, and I just looked outside and felt completely relaxed. I love simple moments like that.

On a side note. I officially sent in my camera and have to use my moms camera for a while. I'm weirdly having fun learning the ways of a different camera. I'm a bit mad at the lesser megapixels because a picture like this would have been wayy cooler on mine. But that's why I do a 365; to deal with everyday issues.
First time making a 'fake' blanket. The actually cloth was smaller than my back!
