A very large dune seen in early morning at the Imperial Sand Dunes in southeastern California. This is another in the series I have going in a set. This particular dune is where I met two young Marines out for ATV rides. To get here, it's simple: take the exit marked for the site off I-8, just 25 miles or so out of Yuma, Arizona. You can see these very large dunes from the highway and there is a parking lot at the bottom of this one.

I was woken at 6:30 by a strange roaring noise, then the children tried to tell me about the balloons. I was skeptical but sure enough there were 4 hot air balloons just above the level of the house. You could hear the occupants talking. I like this picture for the same reason I like the balloons, nice and simple.

Not having much inspirations lately... ;P Like this tiny key stamp though... it's only 3 cm in length.

Very simple - auto flash, auto exposure, power wind; very large finder. Much like the Praktica from two weeks ago. Dates to 1999 (the copyright date on the manual). DX coding only for 100,200 & 400 ISO (there are only two DX contact pins ).
The manual has the helpful advice: "Do not use Polaroid instant films in this camera".
Easy to use, however you do get odd reflections in the eyepiece, as it's so large that your face doesn't cover it all.
2xAA batteries provide the power. Made in China.
