This one is for Krista, who posted a beautiful flower image for me yesterday. It was just my style...nice and simple. :) Thanks again Krista. This image was inspired by her awesome simple shots. I love when she shoots one object like this....so clean and uncomplicated. Simple shots give me a sense of order and peace.
This is my melon baller. :)
Oh and thanks to Kim Klassen for a great texture.

Something simple at the edge of the woods stood out and had me stop.
This pattern of green wings in the leaves of a plant had me imagining the leaves were flying on the afternoon breeze. They were dancing in the wind, and it took a couple of attempts to get a good image.
Pattern recognition. I'm a visual learner so I see things and remember patterns easily. Perhaps that's one reason I enjoy looking at clouds. My imagination runs amok with all the ever changing patterns in the sky.
It was a good day to walk amid all the green of spring.
I took this in a Winery in Swan Valley, WA. Of all the memories that I have of this day, the most prominent one is the vivd colour of the water in contrast with the dead grass around it. Also the heat is a memory I won't forget, 46 degrees was like nothing I've ever come across before and while the people I was with couldn't handle it at all, I on the other hand could have stayed out in it all day. It was a fantastic day and an unforgettable trip.
