i found a macro filter and have been messing around with that a lot.
i'm surprised i don't have more pictures of cats in my stream. Thought i would work on taking a few more but they're all being pretty difficult and camera shy, well not so much as shy as afraid. This is Simba and he's 14. i guess being that old makes him a little more tolerant (unaware) of the camera
Funny cat, I have had this basket for months, and today is the first time he stuffed himself in it !....
Simba is one of my eldest daughter's three cats, and seems to enjoy posing for pictures. This one was taken out on their front porch.
I've never much cared for orange cats, (and besides, I'm allergic to cats) but I've grown quite fond of this one. I think he is about 9 years old, and they've had him since he was a wee kitten.
Simba is a really relaxed dog. Her idea of playing is tripping another dog with more energy (worked every time, too). So she gets a kick out of the gaggle of mostly rambunctious German Shepherds next door. She always sits as the fence, as they come up to their side of it and start barking like crazy. Then she walks away like nothing happened.
