Far from the original thing, of course.
Made of leftovers and fridge findings.
Definitely counts as lunch, though.
First outdoor lunch of the year actually.
Sometimes you just have to smile and not take things so seriously. I hope this brings a smile to your face.

HokusPokus stays beside me as long as I'm at my drawing board and computer. I think he just likes the heat from the lamp.

The snowy owls always make this silly face when they are preening their feathers and then look up! It is one of my favorite expressions that they make!

Mr Rocky being real silly on our last run
out to the temple in-order to give all the
dogs their monthly injections. I spent a lot
of time with Mr Rocky being all lovey dovey.
This morning no# 1 and I went to the local
feed store for more kibble. We were both
hit with "Sticker Shock", price went up
a good 43% + or -. More like +++ ! ! !
Needless to say, only one bag was purchased
when in the past 2 or 3 bags would be purchased.
I know I'm singing to the choir. May first the price
on everything delivered by truck is going to
sky-rocket due to the fuel prices ;-0-
Thank You.

Food just tastes better when you play with it first. I found these three in the kitchen tonight and one had the nerve to stick his tongue out at me. LOL. This wasn't my idea, I am not that clever. I saw it on the Internet but I did buy the raspberries today just so I could copy this fun shot.

If you know Jimmy and Mack at all, you'll know this scene is not what it looks like. It's just a brief interlude from what was really going on - as you can see in the picture in the comments.
There's nothing like the spring season ... a new start to many things ... especially for the birds who can't resist what nature is telling them to do. Yes, they begin a period of change as their breeding colors and plumage emerge, they begin to show off for their mate and a courtship period follows. After that's all set up and they "seal the deal", they continue with the process of nest building, eventually taking turns on the nest duties and if all goes well, the chick rearing as well. :-)
If you ever want to observe what true love looks like, at least in the avian world, check out these birds in the spring. It's quite fascinating and I know that it sounds weird, but these birds know a thing or two about affection, caring, and sharing. :-)
Happy Wednesday everyone ... make it a good one!
Thanks for stopping by to view and especially for sharing your thoughts and comments.

Billy being silly. Actually he was being very serious, which makes it funnier. He was trying to attack my fingers through the milk crate.
I laughed when I opened this in Photoshop. I didn't know whether I got the shot or not at the time and XP doesnt like my RAW files which means I don't get thumbnails.
So it was a surprise to see it turned out so well.
They always arrive in the yard with much fanfare and then set about the serious business of sneaking up on the feeders and trying to stay out of camera range. Andover, NJ
