I've put my Happy Caturday photo shoot off until today - which as luck would have it - is a wet, drippy, soggy day. Uh Oh. I'm going to have to try and entice the cats outside with treats.
A little post processing fun here. In reality these socks are grey and black but I fancied a colour pop to brighten up the image. I think its rather fun and hope it makes you smile ! For Smile on Sunday "Silly socks" and Sliders Sunday...: o ))
You can tell that Drusilla is a die-hard Lalaloopsy Loopsy collector, because she buys everything related to her hobby, including the silly hat. She wears it, too!

This Double-crested Cormorant does not usually hang out high up and on a wire like a Crow! Silly goose ... and with those feet ...
After dropping of the Mrs at a christening we had our dog walk then drove around some of our country lanes. This, the river Brue and the sign post are the results.

I worked on cleaning out toys, books, and furniture that has been loved and is now ready to move on to storage or to bless others. It was bittersweet to linger in sorting doll clothes, play-food, dr. kits, learn to read books and young childhood toys. So, I decided to play a little with the toys before they move on and I do too.
Na dit korte Nederlandse intermezzo (more to come) keer ik met plezier nog eens terug naar de tijd dat je reeks 21/27 met M4m nog kon fotograferen zonder daarna gedurende uren te moeten nabewerken op de PC...
We bevinden ons in Silly op de 12ste juni 2010 waar op dat moment toelatingsproeven worden gehouden met een MRCE 189. Voor niets uiteindelijk want reeks 189 heeft sindsdien geen voet (of moet dat rad) zijn gezet op Belgische bodem. Voor die locreeks moet ik daarna nog eens terug naar onze bovenburen.
Gelukkig verging/vergaat het de Vectron beter dan de 189: die is ondertussen toegelaten op het Infrabel netwerk, nu nog wachten op de eerste rit ;-)

An IC in direction of Tournai and Mouscron is passing in Silly on the 12th of June 2010. That day there were test runs with an MRCE 189 here and this train was more an extra for me ;-)

today scout reported that it has found 200 of my images, at one time or another, on flickr's explore.
i have mixed feelings about explore -- i like getting more exposure for my images, but i don't like that i find i restrict myself to only 1 or 2 posts per day.
